Gamakatsu Big River Bait Hook Black

Gamakatsu Big River Bait Hook - NS Black

Gamakatsu’s Big River Bait Hook is shaped for secure hookups, with a wide gap that helps the point bite in quickly and keeps fish pinned through long, powerful runs. It’s forged for strength, so it stays reliable when you’re tied into a hard-fighting steelhead, salmon, or sturgeon on rivers like the Skagit, Cowlitz, and Columbia. A turned-up eye makes snelling simple and secure, and the NS black finish resists corrosion and keeps its low-profile look through repeated use in wet conditions. It’s a dependable choice for cured eggs, sand shrimp, and other natural baits.

This version offers the widest size range in the lineup, running from size 4 up to a hefty 12/0, so you can match everything from compact river baits to oversized offerings. Sizes 4 through 6/0 come in a small pack or a 25 pack, and the larger sizes come in small packs.

Best For: Bait fishing for steelhead, salmon, halibut and sturgeon where hook strength and a wide size range both matter.
