How many squid jigs can I use on my line?

In Washington State, you can use up to 4 squid jigs on your line. Most people will use 2 or 3 on their line though. 

What are the best squid jigs to use on public fishing piers?

It can change, but generally a small squid jig from unweighted to 1/2 ounce are used from piers.

What are the best squid jigs to use on my boat?

Sometimes boaters will find squid much deeper than the pier, and will run a small jig above, and heavier 1/2 to 1 ounce jigs on the bottom of their setup.

What is the best line to use for squidding?

Copolymer lines like Izorline or P-Line CX Premium in 8 to 12 pound test.
