Copper Pipe Jigs are one of the most traditional deep-water fishing lure along the Pacific Coast. This heavy metal jig is nothing more than a copper pipe filled with lead, rigged with a very stout and reliable Mustad treble hook. As the lure decends into the depths, the compression of the water pressure creates an electifying pulse between the two dissimilar metals, similar to the core on any common battery. This pulse hits Halibut, Lingcod and Rockfish in their lateral line and draws them in to investigate and attack. As these things make it through their first season, they will corrode, but fear not.. they only get better and more effective with age. A must have Halibut, Lingcod and Rockfish lure for depths of 100' to 800'. Available in 16, 24, 32 and 40 ounce.
